The Somanya Yilo State School in the Yilo Krobo district was established in the 1930’s, seeing little or no further construction after its inauguration, the school requested help for the refurbishment of the school and the Goldkey team went on to refurbish the school and provide them with waste bins. The community can now boast about the school and trust that their children and the teachers have a safe place to teach and learn.
